Workshops

I focus on facilitating interactive workshops with practical application. These workshops provide tools to aid faculty in developing and presenting content in a pedagogically sound manner. Conquering the Content workshops help faculty develop courses that are easy to update and provide clear navigation for students. Please contact me if you are interested.

    Hi Robin,

I’m the assistant director of the Centers for Teaching and Technology, which is the umbrella name for the the Center for Teaching and Learning (face-to-face pedagogy) and the Center for Online Learning (faculty development for online learning). I run the Center for Online Learning. We also do the technical training (LMS, etc) training in the COL.

I’m in the process of reading the second edition of your book. I read the first one quite a while back and became a fan of yours! : ) Over the years, I’ve given the first edition to quite a few faculty on campus. I really like your approach to the content.

On your website, you mentioned that you facilitate workshops. Are these workshops face-to-face, webinar, or online? What do you charge for them? How do you run the workshops?

    Much thanks,

    Raleigh

      Hi Raleigh,

Thank you so much for your kind comments! Facilitating face-to-face workshops is my passion! I will contact you directly to talk more about how I might help faculty at Georgia Southern learn more about how to present content (online or in the classroom) based on what we know about how people learn.

      Robin
