Robin M. Smith, Ph.D.
Robin has quickly launched multiple eLearning programs and over 1,000 eLearning courses in higher education, industry, and for numerous grants and federal contracts. Her knowledge of instructional design, adult learning, faculty development, and efficiency of processes benefits those who work with her.
Robin holds a Ph.D. in Systematic Entomology from Texas A&M University. The principles of systematics, taxonomy, and knowledge management apply equally well to insects and course content. Robin has worked with eLearning since 1997 and was one of the first to put a laboratory course online.
In addition to eLearning, Robin serves as a consultant for grant writing and for project management and coordination of grant submissions. She has experience in grants.gov, ASSIST, ERA Commons, REDCap, and other research environments.
